The client

What bostonmade.com does

Boston Made is one company with a family of businesses. Each tribe has a clear job, its own customers and its own way of earning; together they share technology, content, marketing and one membership, Boston Made+.

The homepage had to introduce all of that quickly, then route people to reading, software, shopping or support.

Who they serve

Scope

What we built

Every feature has a job: helping visitors understand, trust and act.

01

Across the network

A live front page of stories collected through Boston Made Reader, linked to original publishers.

02

The 12 Tribes

Every brand, its job and where to find it.

03

Software, shop and support

Clear paths to business tools, products and help.

04

Interactive features

Network search, quick reads and an interactive network case.

05

Membership and learning

Paid memberships and a learning platform.

UX & UI

Design decisions

The choices that shape how visitors experience the site, and why we made them.

01 One shell, many brands

A shared header, dock and sign-in so moving between brands feels like one product.

02 Route, don’t overwhelm

The homepage’s job is to get each visitor to the right place fast.

03 Credit the source

Network stories link to their original publishers.
